Bridging Hospitality Education with Industry Expertise at AUL

AUL University’s Hospitality Department had the pleasure of welcoming Mr. Ramzi Assily, General Manager of Crowne Plaza Beirut, an IHG Hotel, to the Catering Management class as part of its “Hosting from the Market” initiative. The visit provided students with a valuable opportunity to gain firsthand industry insights and benefit from his professional experience. As a gesture of appreciation, the students took the initiative to prepare a small buffet featuring a selection of beautifully presented canapé items for their distinguished guest. At the conclusion of the visit, Mrs. Souad Matraji, Hospitality Coordinator; Dr. Imad Chehab, Acting Dean of Business, and Mrs. Nancy Nasreddine, course instructor, presented Mr. Assily with a Certificate of Appreciation in recognition of his valuable contribution and engagement with the students. A meaningful experience that strengthens the connection between academic learning and the hospitality industry!
