The Arts, Sciences and Technology University in Lebanon (AUL) and Al-Qarar Journal for Peer-Reviewed Scientific Research have signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance frameworks for academic and research cooperation and to advance the quality of scientific publishing.
The agreement was signed by the President of the University, Professor Fawaz Al-Omar, and the Publisher and Editor-in-Chief of the journal, Professor Burhan Al-Din Al-Khatib. The partnership aims to provide a reliable scientific platform for faculty members, researchers, and postgraduate students to publish their intellectual output in accordance with international standards of integrity, transparency, and academic peer review.
The three-year agreement stipulates that submitted research will undergo a double-blind peer-review process to ensure high quality and the independence of publishing decisions. Accepted papers will be assigned permanent Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) and made available under an open-access policy. Furthermore, the collaboration encompasses organizing joint training workshops for researchers, publishing scientific conference proceedings, and issuing joint special issues.
