MAKING EDUCATION ACCESSIBLEAUL is committed to ensuring that financial constraints never stand in the way of a quality education. Explore our range of scholarships, discounts, and flexible payment options.
At AUL, we believe that every motivated student deserves access to higher education. Our financial aid programme offers a variety of scholarships and discounts tailored to recognise academic excellence, family circumstances, athletic achievement, and community engagement.
All aid is awarded on a per-semester basis and must be renewed each academic year. Students are encouraged to visit the Student Affairs Office at any campus for personalised guidance.
Multiple aid types can be combined where eligible. Contact the Student Affairs Office for a personalised assessment.
Awarded to students with outstanding BAC II results or high academic standing at AUL. Recognises and rewards scholastic excellence with a reduction on tuition fees.
For the highest-performing incoming students. Awarded to applicants with exceptional BAC II results or ranked in the top percentile of their graduating class.
When two or more siblings enrol at AUL simultaneously, both receive a discount on their tuition fees. This benefit applies as long as both siblings are active students at AUL.
Awarded to students who represent AUL or Lebanon at a competitive level in recognised sports. Supports student-athletes in balancing their academic and athletic commitments.
AUL faculty, staff, and their immediate family members (spouse and children) are eligible for a tuition discount as part of the university's employee benefits programme.
For students facing genuine financial hardship, AUL's Student Affairs Office evaluates applications on a case-by-case basis and may offer partial tuition relief or deferred payment arrangements.
Combining Scholarships
Certain scholarships may be combined, subject to a maximum combined discount determined by the Student Affairs Office. For example, a merit scholarship may be combined with a sibling discount. Contact the office to find out which combinations apply to your situation.
We understand that managing tuition costs in Lebanon's current economic environment is challenging. AUL offers several payment plan options to spread your fees throughout the academic year, making it easier to plan your finances.
All payment plans must be agreed with the Finance Office at the start of each semester. Late payment fees may apply if instalment deadlines are missed.
Speak to our Finance OfficePay the full semester tuition at the start of the semester and receive an early-payment benefit. No additional charges apply.
Split your tuition into two equal payments: 50% at the start of the semester and 50% at the mid-point. Must be pre-arranged with the Finance Office.
Divide your fees into three payments across the semester. Requires approval from the Finance Office and a signed payment agreement at registration.
The process is straightforward. Follow these four steps to submit your scholarship application.
Complete the online pre-application form or visit any AUL campus to collect a scholarship application form from the Student Affairs Office.
Provide supporting documents relevant to your scholarship type — transcripts, BAC II certificate, family documents, medical certificates, or financial statements as required.
The Student Affairs committee reviews your application, verifies eligibility criteria, and makes an award decision. This typically takes 5–10 business days.
Successful applicants receive a written notification. The discount is applied directly to their tuition invoice for the upcoming semester.
Application Deadlines
Scholarship applications for each semester must be submitted before or during the registration period. Late applications may not be considered for the current semester. Contact the Student Affairs Office at your campus for the exact deadline for the current academic year.
